Cinco de Drinko

Ah, Cinco de Mayo.

Also just known as “Friday” to most everyone living in Mexico.

But no matter how irrelevant some people find the holiday, it’s become an official day of drinking in the United States. Typically, the poison of choice is tequila. But not everyone is a fan of the agave spirit, and everyone loves vodka, right?

So, the guys over at Kruto Vodka (frequent sponsor of Dallas LGBT events, by the way) sent over some Cinco de Mayo recipe alternatives that will make your sombrero spin and your taste buds dance La Cucaracha. How’s that for stereotyping?

Scroll to the end of the story for recipes for the Kruto Sangria, Kruto Rita and Kruto Spice (pictured above, left to right). You can even scroll a little further for a chance to win a muy bueno prize pack from Kruto Vodka that will make your next party an even bigger hit.

Head out to your favorite liquor purveyor today and pop open a bottle of ultra-distilled vodka that’s so good, you don’t even need to pour it in a glass.

But please do. Americans already have a bad enough reputation right now.
