What to Drink Now: New Spirits Launching in Dallas

Kruto Vodka is a wheat-based vodka made in the Ukraine by Russian emigrant to the United States, Eugene Grafer (now based in Plano), working along with his Russian business partner. Their goal was to create the smoothest, highest quality vodka for the American market… mainly so they would have something delicious to drink while in America. The Kruto Original Vodka is distilled 9 times and filtered 5 for a smooth, delicate spirit that has a touch of floral and toasted honey notes from the wheat, great to be used as a base in cocktails. They will also launch their Kruto Flawless Vodka soon, distilled and impressive 15 times creating a very clean spirit meant to be sipped on its own, slightly chilled. And, the best part about this vodka, it is priced around $16 a bottle, quite affordable compared to others in the same quality category. Kruto will be available at Goody-Goody and Sigel’s stores starting the first part of March.
