Sneaker Baby Macarons

Hailing from Dallas, TX, Tiffany Tran is a confectioner of many talents. This is #Kruto52. The founder of Sneakerbaby Macarons specializes in bringing joy to others through sweets and treats. Tran founded Sneakerbaby with her partner, Josh Hendrix, in September of 2018. “I didn’t see savory or spirited macaron options being explored in Dallas so we decided to experiment and come up with some fun, unexpected flavors ourselves,” Tran says. “It started with the Signature SneakerBaby, a Cheez-It flavored macaron, which was inspired by our cat, Sneakers, whose favorite snack is the Cheez-It cracker.” Tran and Hendrix chose to name their business after their loveable tabby cat, Sneakers. “SneakerBaby is one of her many nicknames,” Tran says of her cat, “and we can never call her that without smiling. We hope to carry that idea through with our macarons.” Tran and Hendrix strive to create a balance of flavors, as opposed to the “sugar bombs” they encounter with other macarons. With Tran’s background in baking and Hendrix’s background in cocktails, each confection pairs well with Kruto Vodka. “Our skill sets make for some delicious treats with a surprising depth of flavor,” Tran says.
